影片讲述了发生在同一时间，不同地点的两段爱情故事。不能生育孩子Gwen和Rhys来到阿根廷的帕塔哥尼亚度假，试图暂时把烦恼抛开，修复两人的感情。同时一名阿根廷祖母前往威尔士寻亲，陪伴她的侄子Alejandro尽管并不情愿但很快地爱上了当地的威尔士女郎Sissy。在不同的美丽的景色当中，两段恋情展开了。
