　　台湾的地理位置自古以来便占居重要地位，除了四面环海，拥有多变的海景之外，山脉海拔更因高达三千多公尺，虽然土地面积不大，但造就而成的丰富地貌却是各国少见，台湾散步景观篇将介绍台湾特殊地貌的景点，并将镜头深入少见山区及离岛地区如澎湖、兰屿等一窥鲜为人知的自然天堂！

　　台湾虽然土地面积不大，但人们在这个土地的产业活动总是充满活力并且络绎不绝。自早年的矿业开采如掏金、煤矿等，到近代农作、渔业等各经济活动及效益闻名世界，其中，台湾的花卉及蔬果物美价廉，每年都占台湾出口产量的重要地位，台湾散步人文篇将介绍台湾的经济发展以及指标性地的文化活动，让大家一探我们的生活产业脉络。
　　历史篇
　　台湾的历史不算长远，但是数百年因为历经移民、日本殖民时期以及近代民主执政以来已经融合了许多族群以及生活文化，其影响在食、衣、住、行等处处可见。台湾散步历史篇将带大家漫步本岛具代表性的历史景点、饮茶文化、建筑风格等，一探台湾历史的神秘面纱。

　　第一季的《远古外星人》带领我们一起探索了数千年前智慧生命莅临地球的问题，提出了人类历史进程是否受到外星人的影响等问题。在第一季中，我们欣赏了远古洞穴壁画中奇异的生物，看到了秘鲁的飞机跑道遗迹，领略了印第安文字中所描述的“神的飞行器”这些反常的考古文物。
　　如果地球上的生命起源于外星球，远古外星人到访过地球，他们留下了哪些遗产，又留下了哪些线索，以证明他们曾在此驻足停留？ 远古外星人他们是谁，又怀揣着什么目的而来？
　　Daniken制作，History Channel电视台发行的《远古外星人》开始了第二季全新的探险，继续带着各位剧迷寻找并评估外星人降临地球的证据。从亚洲到非洲，从欧洲再到南美洲，让我们一起见证历史吧。
　　历史频道（英文：The History Channel）是美国一个专门播放历史相关纪录片的电视频道，于全球各地设立多个版本，部份更会播放人物史、军事历史、工程发明等电视节目。历史频道成立于1995年1月1日，由“Arts & Entertainment”联营公司（Hearst、美国广播公司、全国广播公司）和天空（Sky）新闻集团所创立和营运[1]；及后扩展至世界各地，包括英国、亚太区等。

It is a story that spans 500 million years and stars some of the most exotic and wondrous marine creatures on earth.  Coral is the planets greatest natural architect, and coral reefs boast the highest biodiversity of any ecosystem.

　　Filmed over 2000 dives on three great coral reef ecosystems; The Great Barrier Reef,  Ningaloo Reef, and Papua New Guinea, Coral Sea Dreaming - Awaken is a celebration of reefs now under threat of climate change and ocean acidification. There is much to be done to safe-guard these precious ecosystems for future generations. And very little time to do it.

　　In recent years a groundbreaking new study has been released into the effects of the contraceptive pill. Research from Denmark claimed women on the pill and other forms of hormonal contraception were 70% more likely to be diagnosed with depression than those who were not. And another study has found hormonal contraception was linked to a seemingly dramatic risk of breast cancer.
　　Negative headlines are nothing new for the contraceptive pill - first introduced in 1961, it has had a chequered history with early versions linked to cancer risk and life-threatening blood clots. Yet hormonal contraception remains Britain's most popular form of birth control, and today over three million women take regular doses of synthetic hormones. So should they be worried about its safety?
　　GP Dr Zoe Williams gets behind the headlines in this Horizon investigation. A specially commissioned, nationwide survey reveals the areas of most concern to British women - from mental health to the risk of cancer and drop in libido. With the help of world leading scientists, Zoe finds out if these concerns are justified and by delving deep into the science around the pills side effects Horizon uncovers some striking revelations - from protecting women against cancer to increasing their risk of suicide.

　　《空中浩劫》（Air Crash Investigation）是一个由加拿大的Cineflix公司所制作的纪录片节目。此节目主要介绍1970年代黑盒子发明之后所发生的近代重大航空事故。在第三季时，有三集穿插铁道事故及航海事故。
　　此节目在不同频道播出有不同的英文名称，于加拿大的Discovery频道播出时称为“Mayday”，在美国播出时称为“Air Emergency”，而在英国、法国和其他国家播出时称为“Air Crash Investigation”。
　　《空中浩劫》会以模拟演出的方式，分别以乘客、机师等不同人的视角，从一开始旅客登机、起飞，一直到事故发生、后续善后及调查为止，重现整个过程。在片中会穿插对于乘客及机师的访谈（若有生还者且其愿意受访时），另外也会访问空难调查人员、目击者等。取材以事故调查报告及相关新闻报道为主；若因调查单位不公开报告以致无法取得事故调查报告时，则会征询相关专家的说法以拼凑出全貌。
　　此节目对于飞机外观、空服员制服、机场等制作考究，但也并非100%做到与当时完全一样，偶有不相符之处，如波音737驾驶室变成空中客车A320驾驶室。模拟演出时，会找与当事人相貌近似的的演员参与。
