　　茶，是中国最具代表性的文化之一。千百年来，茶文化几经传承、历练、蜕变，焕发出别样的光彩和魅力。本纪录片寻访了云南、福建、四川的产茶重地，记录下小小的一片那嫩叶是如何历经风雨被采下来，并经过复杂的工序和手艺焙制称清香四溢的坐上佳品。跟随摄制组的脚步，观众走访了中国、日本、印度、泰国、肯尼亚，领略了千百年来茶叶在亚非各国落地开花，所滋养出来的不同的文化底蕴。茶叶何止滋养了一方水土，更联络其从东方到西方、从远古到现代全人类的灵魂与情感。

　　十年前，竹内亮导演在NHK拍摄纪录片《长江天地大纪行》时留下了一个遗憾：未能拍摄到“长江源头的第一滴水”。十年后，迁居中国南京的他决心弥补这一遗憾。经过两年的精心准备，他在2021年再次踏上了6300公里的长江之旅，与旧友们重逢。竹内亮的镜头下，不仅有壮美的自然风光，更有普通百姓的朴实笑容和令人潸然泪下的动人故事。他捕捉了长江沿岸的风土人情和百姓的真实生活，展现了中国经济腾飞后的十年巨变。作为在中国生活近十年的外国人，竹内亮导演在完成十年之约的同时，也希望让世界看到真实的中国人、真实的中国。电影版由竹内导演的重新剪辑，将带给观众全新的视听体验。
